How can other peoples advertising increase your online income? About the Author Gareth Longbottom will show you how you can have your own
One of the first questions I ask a new prospect who joins my family of
highly motivated people is:
What other programs have you been involved with, and if you are no
longer an active member, why did you leave?
The most frequent response I get is: ………. “I didn’t get into the
program early enough, so too many people were promoting it.”
Just think about that for a minute.
Every day we hear…… “the fortune is in the follow-up” and….” it
takes on average seven contacts before a prospect will act, or click
through to your web site”.
We are told this time and time again because it’s true, it’s been proven
many times by people who are earning thousands of dollars each month.
So start beleiving it.
Setting up an effective autoresponder series is one of the first things I help
my own people do. It’s a must if you want to succeed online!
So, let’s say you just joined a new program or opportunity and you
place an add in a newsletter, but what you don’t realize is that in the
last few weeks other people have placed adds in the same publication
for the same program as you.
Does this mean that your add will be less effective because the reader
has seen it several times in previous issues?
Of course not!!
The reader is now starting to get curious about this program that
people are joining, the reader is now getting more exposure to your
program from other people advetising in the newsletter, the reader
is now sitting up and taking notice.
The best part is…………….the reader is about to click on YOUR
refferal link because he has been exposed to the program through
other peoples advertising efforts.
So if your add cost $100 and three other people have placed the
same add for the same program but you get the clickthrough, then
you just got 400 worth of advertising for $100.
Not bad!!
This type of exposure has a similar effect as an autoresponder
series of messages, and is just one of the many reasons why
newsletter and ezine advertising has become so effective.
Just think about the times when you have responded to an add
in any of the newsletters or ezines that you subscribe to. How
many times had you seen that add before you clicked through
to the website or autoresponder for more info?
One of the biggest and continually effective businesses online has
over 8,000,000 affiliates and has been in business for over 10
years.
If over exposure killed an affiliates chances of making a significant
income in a program, then this company would have dissapeared
some time ago. They go from strength to strength year after year,
so do those affiliates who can see the big picture and dedicate
themselves.
If you needed any convincing about how you can turn other
peoples advertising into your profit, then that example alone
should make you realize that it works.
Why not use it to your advantage and start seeing your affiliate
income soar?

Titles – and Subtitles – Sell Books!
Mar 10th, 2010 by admin
Does a title really sell a book? The short answer is, yes. You must be careful in choosing your book title because if a book does not attract a reader initially, it will be overlooked and not purchased. The book title is the element that creates the initial attraction to the book. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Watch people who are browsing in a bookstore. A catchy title grabs their interest and makes them reach for the book out of curiosity. A great title makes browsers think, Really? or What does THAT mean? or Thats what I need. Think long and hard when choosing your books title. The title must give some clues about the books contents in a snappy one-liner.
Many authors struggle fiercely with the title choice, not realizing that the title is there somewhere in the books contents. They just havent recognized it because they are too close to the project. Sometimes it helps to talk to impartial, unbiased persons. Tell them what your book is about, and then listen to their feedback.
Alternately, on the tongue-in-cheek advice of one publishing professional, open a bottle of wine and start writing. Make a list of everything that comes to mind about what you have written in your book. Nothing is too silly, but do try to strike on the central theme or message.
When your list is complete (and the wine is all gone), group your notes into categories. Choose the snappiest, most intriguing words that say something about your book without sounding like a boring explanation.
Perhaps these titles will help you:
Woman-Sense Rules!
Fit to Cook
Climb Your Stairway to Heaven
Light the Fire
Spell Success in Your Life
If you are planning on a series, your title should be your brand. Then as you make your brand into a household word, you ensure future sales. As each title in the series is published, you know that people will purchase the latest book to complete the series. Think Harry Potter or Nancy Drew.
The subtitle of your book is a great way to increase sales. The subtitle gets to the heart of the book and convinces the reader of the books benefits. It lets people know that the book is unique and that they really cant live without it. It makes the reader believe that he or she just cant live without it and that is your objective.
Check the following subtitles:
Woman-Sense Rules! The Spiritual Womans Guide to Finding Yourself When You Didnt Know You Were Missing
Fit to Cook Why Waist Time in the Kitchen?
Climb Your Stairway to Heaven the 9 habits of maximum happiness
Light the Fire Fiery Food with a Light New Attitude!
Spell Success in Your Life – A road map for achieving your goals and surviving success
In the title and in the subtitle, you can use humor or emotions to sell your book, but avoid clichs and corny expressions, or overly common sayings. They soon become stale and annoying. Keep your title unique, catchy and relevant.
Before making the final decision on your book title, conduct a title search (Click Here to see our course, Idea to Bookto Success the fast, easy, simple way! for instructions on title searches). Although you cannot copyright a title, duplicating titles only leads to confusion, and you want people to purchase your book, not a competitors book. Make your book title (and subtitle) one that increases the likelihood of increasing your book sales.

How Do Affiliate Programs Work
Mar 10th, 2010 by admin
Affiliate programs are one of the webs most effective marketing techniques. They create a win-win situation by which site A refers a visitor to site B, and site B pays site A a commission if the visitor makes a purchase. The way it works is like this: the vendor gives the affiliate specific HTML code that it must use on its site to create a link to the vendors site. This code contains an embedded ID number that allows the vendor to know when an incoming visitor comes to them by clicking the link on the affiliate site. The vendors servers will then set a cookie (a time sensitive electronic identification mechanism) in the visitors computer so that every time he comes back to the vendors site, the vendors servers will remember that he was originally referred to them by the affiliate, and will pay him a commission when the visitor makes a purchase. This makes it possible for the affiliate to make a commission even if the visitor doesnt purchase anything the first time, but comes back and purchases later. Also, it is not necessary that the visitor enter the vendors site through the affiliates link other than the first time, since the vendors servers will identify the cookie and will know that the visitor was originally referred to them by the affiliate. At the vendors discretion, the cookies can be set up to expire that same day, remain active indefinitely, or anything in between (vendors usually call the duration of a cookie the referral period). For this reason, it is better to choose vendor partners that offer long referral periods (120 days is considered very good). This increases the affiliates chances of success, since very few people will purchase on their first visit, although exceptions do occur with vendors that enjoy superb brand recognition and feature user friendly interfaces, like Amazon.com (the pioneer of affiliate programs) who, in spite of keeping cookies alive for only 24 hours, is able to generate a significant portion of its sales in the first few minutes after a visitor has clicked into their site. Affiliate programs are one of the webs most effective marketing techniques. They create a win-win situation by which site A refers a visitor to site B, and site B pays site A a commission if the visitor makes a purchase. The referrer site (affiliate), can make money with no overhead (no product, no warehouse, no collection risk). On the other hand, the destination site (vendor) receives a steady stream of qualified leads from hundreds, maybe thousands of affiliate sites, and doesnt have to spend a dime unless a visitor makes a purchase.
How to Win the Advertising and Promotion Game
Mar 9th, 2010 by admin
I am certain that, as a business owner, you have often entertained the question as to how much to spend and where to spend your advertising dollars. For most small business owners, these questions can add to the headaches suffered in the course of normal everyday operations of their business. THERE ARE NO SIMPLE ANSWERS The how much to spend and where to spend it questions have no easy answers. Depending on your type of business, many people suggest that the *how much* should be equal to anywhere from 4% to 10% of your gross receipts. The quandary is that a business cannot survive without a fresh flow of incoming customers. But, a business can seldom generate a fresh stream of customers without spending money to get the word out about their business. THE CHALLENGE OF DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE ADVERTISING Have you ever paid for advertising and sat back to await the fresh flow of customers, only to find yourself sitting and sitting and then sitting some more? Dont feel bad about that. It has happened to many of us before. See, knowing where to spend the advertising money is not enough to get the job done. Where to spend the money only begins to highlight the other issues connected with advertising: Marketing Plan THE MARKETING PLAN The Marketing Plan is used primarily to identify your own products and services, costs, strengths, weaknesses and the strengths and weaknesses of your competitors. To learn more about constructing your own marketing plan, visit the Small Business Administration website for a comprehensive study of the elements of a Marketing Plan: http://www.home-business.com/nav/articles/links/sba_plan.html ADVERTISING STRATEGY It is important to understand what you expect to gain from your advertising. Do you simply wish to get your name known so that when your customer will need you, they will think of you first? Or, do you wish to get your customers in your front door on Saturday? Do you want your customers to come in and take a look around to discover the next object that they cannot live without? Or, do you want them to come in and purchase a specific widget? Do you hope that enough people will come in to purchase enough products or services to pay for your single ad? Or, do you expect to gain a lifelong customer who will help pay for your advertising over the course of several years? When you know what you want, then you will better understand just how to do it. HEADLINES, AD COPY AND VISUAL PRESENTATION You might be surprised how many business owners put out advertising without regard for the quality of the sales pitch or presentation. The quality of your distribution outlet or the amount of money you spent to get there will do little for you if the advertising vehicle is a junker. Test all of your advertising materials in smaller markets before blowing your advertising bank roll on it. You must absolutely know the value of your advertising before putting large sums of money behind it. TRACKING THE SUCCESS OF YOUR ADVERTISING CAMPAIGNS Tell your customers to save another 10% when they tell you they heard or saw your ad in such-and-such location. Suggest that they can register to win a free widget if they fill out a form and have them to tell you how they heard of your business. Advertise a specific widget in your ad and track the sales of that widget. It does not matter how you track your advertising — just make sure you do it! IN SUMMARY The ideal way to spend your advertising budget is to purchase a rifle with a high-powered scope and to only shoot your targets in the light of day. If you are not tracking your advertising, then you are shooting a pellet gun without an attached scope, with blinders on, and shooting in the dead darkness of night. Even with a bigger gun, the blinders in the dark constitute the single largest mistake made by advertisers. If you are unable to track your advertising to learn what is working well, what is working somewhat, and what is a money pit, then you are condemned to repeat your mistakes over and again. By relying only on gut instinct, you may be choosing to spend more money in the money pit and to lose all of your money in the process. When you get down to the nuts and bolts of making money from your advertising, you should plan, prepare, track and study your results. You must have factual information on which to base your advertising decisions. When you are making the right advertising decisions, then making money from your business might just come easy. Time-Saving Skills to Get More from Your Writing
Mar 9th, 2010 by admin
As you set out to create your first niche non-fiction book (and hopefully your first bestseller), you will be supported by a strong motivation to keep your mind focused on the essential business at hand i.e. complete the project, achieve publication, and hit the bestseller lists. Before that can happen though, youll need a plan to get you underway. MANAGING YOUR TIME TO SPEED THE PROCESS The only time constraints are those of your own making. This is not a race and you are not competing with anyone else, so dont rush. 1. Make out an action list for every day of your new adventure but dont overload it. 2. Never start on tomorrows work today. Tomorrow will be time enough. 3. Take a break when hit a snag. Rest, go for a walk, watch a movie and come back refreshed. 4. You will work best during your most creative time of the day or week. We have already established that for some people, that is very early in the morning; for others, late at night or over the weekend. Try to discover when your creative moments occur and capitalize on them. 5. Dont work when youre tired or jaded. You run the risk of turning out garbage and opening the door to disillusion. 6. When youre surfing the Net for information, always be on the lookout for items of relevance to your project. These could be in the form of articles and reports. They are in the public domain, so incorporate extracts if you feel they would enhance your content. If you need author consent, ask for it; permission will not be unreasonably withheld. OPENING SEPARATE FILES FOR EVERY ASPECT OF THE PROJECT You will have many matters to attend to (often simultaneously) in the process of writing up your material, converting it into book format, and preparing your output for publication. Make the job easier and cut down dramatically on your workload by creating separate computer files of every aspect of the project; files you can refer to instantly. o Research findings Coordinate your activities this way right from the start and the production of current and future produce will look after itself. It will flow off the assembly line like honey dripping from a spoon. WHY THOSE WORKING NOTES ARE YOUR STOCK-IN-TRADE Your various researches will have provided you with an ever-growing batch of working notes (stuff you have copied to a computer file or pulled down from web sites and printed out); notes that you should always have readily to hand when working on every aspect of the overall project. These notes are the stock-in-trade you will refer to frequently in the fulfillment of your sundry assignments. WHY GOOD AUTHORING RESOURCES ARE ESSENTIAL If you are to produce information products worthy of publication, products that people will want and be willing to pay for, you need access to as many efficient authoring resources as you can locate. Youll want to be able to visit a comprehensive cyberspace library for additional information and perhaps even acquire some help with your creative writing. Here are some other online places you can visit. LITERARY LEAPS BOOK MARKET PUBLISHING RESOURCES HOW MANY WORDS? – HOW MANY CHAPTERS? It’s never that easy to estimate the eventual length of your first work but (as a rough guide) if you are planning on turning out 10/12 chapters your word count should be somewhere between 30,000 to 35,000 words; for 12/15 chapters allow for 35,000 to 45,000 words. Do not set firm targets at the outset though because as your list of contents develops so too will the potential number of chapters in the final draft. Some material will merge with other data, some will expand, and some will disappear altogether. HOW DRAFY COPY HELPS TO SHAPE THE FINAL PRODUCT Even with a fully structured outline to work from (which well discuss in the next chapter), committing the first paragraph to your word processor can often prove problematic. When youve accomplished the opening salvo and it is to your liking, press on with the composition but stop now and again to review what you have written. Doing it this way, your output operates much in the same way as a fountain; ideas spill out presenting you with new angles and twists in direction. This will continue to happen every time you return to work on your draft copy and all to the betterment of the final product. DEVELOPING A DISTINCTIVE TITLE FOR YOUR BOOK The title of your book depicts the very first words that anyone reads; it is the catalyst that determines whether anything else is read. As such it is an instrument of ultimate consequence. When the title is plumb center, it hits the bull’s eye; when it’s off center, it’s off the wall. Treat the development of a distinctive title as essential work that you cannot start on too soon, but never settle for the first suggestion that springs to mind, no matter how brilliant it strikes you at the time. Keep working on it, polishing it, developing the power words that will transform it into a masterful catch phrase that compels the prospect to turn the pages. Even when you have done all this to your satisfaction, you may find that a publisher alters it. Don’t balk or consider the change as interference. Publishers know better than authors do what constitutes a winning title. Remember too that a powerful sub-title that sells the title itself is of equal necessity. In my new course I discuss how to wrap both into a commanding double-edged designation. Your ability to plan for fulfilment will hinge largely on how effectively you manage your time. Give Your Affiliate Program A Lift With A New Or Improved Pr
Mar 9th, 2010 by admin
If an affiliate program is an important part of your business, About the Author Keller Flynn offers the full spectrum of tools, ideas and action
your profits are only as good as your affiliate members. Sales
drop like a rock when they get discouraged or lose interest.
You will see the dreaded signs if you frequently visit your
affiliates’ sites. The banner or enthusiastic endorsement they
once had on their opening page is now relegated to a link on the
second or third tier of their site. Something as simple as that
can cut the number of hits you get by a factor of ten or twenty.
Two things usually account for members giving you the back burner
treatment: Your product or service isn’t selling as well as it
once did for them. Or members are simply losing interest because
newer, more exciting affiliate programs are grabbing their
attention.
You can immediately solve both problems by offering a new or
improved product or service. Spend time to make sure your new
product is a big improvement over what has come before. The more
you can insure your product is a big deal, the more excited your
affiliates will get.
Make your roll-out a big production. Give your new creation a
whole new area with a fresh new look on your web site.
Two weeks before you unveil your new product, start sending
announcements to your affiliates. Let them know something
important is about to happen and they will be the first to hear
about it.
After you bring out your product, do a quick follow-up with
members. Get comments on how they expect the new product to
sell. Harvest early accounts of how some members are doing well
with the product. Include these comments in your weekly email
updates to members.
A word of warning–try not to veer completely away from what has
worked for you before. If you have always sold software, don’t
bring in a new line of office furniture as your new product for
affiliates. An exciting new software application will work
better and will not dilute the brand identity your business has
enjoyed.
Got a major product you don’t want to ignore? Good! It’s
almost always easier to get affiliates and customers excited
about an improvement to an old favorite than it is to make a
favorite out of a completely new product.
Keep a file of customer complaints and ideas about your product.
Over time you can use these as ideas starters for ways to build
improvements that customers and affiliates will appreciate and
value.
When interest in your product or service starts to diminish, pull
our your file and make requested improvements. Add in enough
improvements and you have a new issue, a next generation, or a
fresh edition you can sell as a replacement or upgrade to your
long list of previous customers.
Affiliate programs are still the number one way to market on the
Web. It pays to keep your program exiting and top-of-mind. For
many companies, it is unlikely that a better way to boost profits
will come along any time soon.

How to Use Pay Per Click Advertising to Increase Web Site Tr
Mar 8th, 2010 by admin
How to Use Pay Per Click Advertising to Increase Web Site Traffic! About the Author Mark Williams can show you the way to increase website traffic and get more out of your new or existing site. He has researched and reviewed hundreds of traffic techniques. You can get more traffic tips at:
-Mark Williams
Have you ever imagined what it would be like to get hundreds, even thousands of targeted visitors to your web site each and everyday?
If you could increase web site traffic by a factor of 3, how much more money would you be making? I can tell you that your profits would grow exponentially!
So how do you drive those targeted, ready to purchase, visitors to your site? I am going to outline the keys to winning the Pay per Click game. If you will implement these strategies, I can guarantee you that you will have more traffic to your site than you ever imagined!
So, let’s get started increasing web site traffic, shall we?
PAY PER CLICK SEARCH ENGINES
This is one of the most obvious and misused traffic generating strategies on the web. If implemented properly, this can be a profitable way to get laser targeted traffic to any web site.
If you are just starting a web site, then this is where you need to start generating traffic. There are two reasons for this: the first, you will get immediate targeted traffic and secondly, paid traffic is predictable. You will be able to count on this traffic while you develop your free traffic strategies and implement them.
If you already have a site that is not doing well, then paid advertising is a great way to increase web site traffic immediately and start making sales. Our goal is to make sales profitably, and the following guidelines will help you do that.
KEYWORD RESEARCH
The key to successful paid advertising is developing a large number of highly targeted and relevant keywords. Keyword research will make or break your paid advertising campaign. There are a number of tools that can help in developing a list of keywords; I have mentioned a few below:
Overture’s keyword search tool – This is a free tool that can be found at inventory.overture.com. There is NO http or www just inventory.overture.com
Wordtracker – Wordtracker costs a few dollars to use but it is a great tool.
Word Tracker
Adword Analyzer – This is my personal favorite because it provides the most information and I use it everyday.
Ad Words Analyzer
You need to develop a short list of about 100 keywords for your ad. You will eventually build this list into about 1000 but 100 is a good place to start.
SET UP YOUR ADS ON GOOGLE ADWORDS
Now that we have our keywords, you need to set up an account with Google Adwords. The reason we want to start with Google is they will produce the most traffic and we can test ads. We will discuss testing a little later, because right now I want to focus on setting up our ads.
This is NOT rocket science, just follow these easy steps:
1.Pick the countries and language that you want the ads to run in. I usually select the U.S and Canada with English as the language.
2.Now it is time to write the ad itself! With Google you are limited on space so make every word count. You will need to write a headline and two lines describing your ad.
a.Headline – This must be an attention grabber and it is critical that you include your keyword. I have also found that placing the headline in the form of a question helps with your click – through rate.
b.Description – Briefly describe what it is you are selling and explain how the reader will benefit from your product or service. You need to include your keyword in the description as well. (Some keyword phrases are awkward and trying to use them in the context of the ad is hard. Don’t get frustrated by trying to make it work. If the keyword flows naturally in the ad, then use it!)
3.The next step is adding your keywords and keyword phrases. Google Adwords allows you to enter keywords 3 different ways:
a.Broad Match – A broad match will trigger your ads anytime one of your keywords is within a search. So if your keyword is “golf” and someone searches for “the best golf club” then your ad will be triggered. Broad match will deliver the least amount of targeted traffic and is not highly recommended.
b.Phrase Match – To enter your keyword as a phrase match you need to put quotations around the keyword like “golf equipment”. This is a slightly more targeted way to get traffic.
c.Exact Match – Exact match keywords are the most targeted and they are entered with brackets, like [golf equipment]. The only way your ad will be triggered is by someone typing in the exact keyword you are bidding on. In our example, if someone typed in “golf equipment” then your ad will show up as a sponsored ad. This is the most effective way to get targeted traffic to your site!
4.Now it is time to test your ads! You need to write two ads for every ad campaign you have. Only make slight differences in the two ads, just change one word for example. Let the ads run for about 500 impressions and then see which one gets the highest CTR (click through rate). When you have determined which ad is the best, then change the ad slightly and run another ad to see if you can make it better. Always keep trying to produce better pulling ads, because Google Adwords will reward you for a high CTR.
5.The last step is setting your bid price for your ad campaign. I suggest a little trick that will help your conversion. Bid your keywords to get into first position and let your ads run in first position for a few hours or up to one day. Then reduce your bid price to place yourself somewhere in the top 8 ads. This will help your CTR and you will get a higher position for less money per click!
Once you have some proven ads that are pulling in the profits then start placing them on the other Pay per Click Search Engines. Always start with Google Adwords because they are the only company that will allow you to test ads.
Let’s recap our list of things needed to effectively run a PPC (Pay per Click) campaign:
1.Build a good keyword list.
2.Write effective headlines and descriptions.
3.Test your ads trying for a higher and higher CTR.
4.Monitor profitability!
5.Take proven ads and expand your paid advertising to other companies.
If you will follow these simple steps, I guarantee that you will increase web site traffic and drive more targeted leads to your site than you could ever imagine. These targeted, ready to purchase customers will convert your products into cash. Just remember that this is a business like any other business and tracking your ad effectiveness and profitability is vital to your internet success!
Increase Web Site Traffic
Three tips for Internet Product Marketing Success
Mar 8th, 2010 by admin
Have you ever heard the expression, ” the quickest way to reach your goals is to help others reach their goals?” I remember this expression and use it as my Internet product marketing plan. It has paid off with 3 best selling books for me in the past year. I also sell a great deal of consulting projects as well. How does it work in Internet Bookselling? Let me explain. Websites generally have three characteristics that help them consistently remain in the top search engine standings: 1. Websites must add and change their content often. (Once or twice a day is perfect) Top websites spend a great deal of time and money to remain at the top of the heap. Everyone wants to be there, but only a few can hold down those top positions. Understanding these three characteristics have enabled me to achieve my goals by helping websites achieve their goals. Step One: Search for the Big Guys on the Internet I have two areas of expertise. I am a hypnotist who writes books and e-books on how to achieve success through hypnosis. I am also an E-book Marketing Consultant and write books on how to write and sell e-books. In order to find top websites that may be interested in hypnosis, I search on broader topics like “health” and “mental health.” For my books on E-book marketing I search on topics like “Internet marketing” and “E-commerce.” Even though there are hundreds of search engines and thousands of directories, I begin with searching on Yahoo. Yahoo is a directory that is difficult to get into and even more difficult to maintain a high ranking. >From my own experience once I made the top of the heap in Yahoo, under “hypnotism” my web traffic more than doubled and stayed that way over the past three years. Therefore, I conclude that the websites that arise to the top of Yahoo will be much more highly visited than through other search engines and directories. Step Two: Help the Webmaster Offer More Content Once I search under the two major categories that fit my topic, I send e-mail to the webmasters at those sites sending along my article or sample chapter. I tell the webmasters I would appreciate posting my article for their readers in return for a short bi-line or description on what I do and a link over to Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble.com or my own website in return for the favor. Most webmasters jump at the opportunity at receiving free content that allows them to maintain the high rankings on their websites. Step Three: Help the Website Newsletter Editor The top ranking websites also sponsor their own newsletter or e-zine. After contacting the webmaster about content added directly to the website, I then contact the newsletter editor in regards to placing an article or sample chapter in the newsletter. Sometimes at the bottom of a sample newsletter there will be specific instructions on how to submit articles. Many times there is even a section on the website where you can post your articles directly to the editor. After following the directions in the newsletter, I submit my article or sample chapter to the website newsletter editor. I have just added more content to their website, again helping the website increase traffic and at the same time direct interested visitors to my book offerings located in the author’s bi-line. Step Four: Help the Website Bookstore Make Money Most of the time, you will find that the top websites also have their own bookstore. Usually the Website bookstore will be an “associate of Amazon.com.” For example: You search on the keyword “health” on Yahoo and are taken to the top five health sites. Let’s call the top website “health.com.” After navigating around the website you find a Health.com bookstore that offers many titles on a particular aspect of health you are interested in. When you click on a book cover on that website, you are immediately sent over to a book description page on Amazon.com. If you look at the complete link that shows up in your browser you will see an URL (the Internet address) which looks something like this: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1929695217/healthcom/104-2910323-8772 701 The two most important parts of the link are the ISBN number which is the number called “ASIN/” which is Amazon.com’s identification number, and the words following the book’s ISBN number which is “/healthcom.” “Healthcom” is the website’s Amazon.com Associate identification number. This number allows the website to get paid for any sales that result by someone clicking on the link and then purchasing the featured book on Amazon.com. The next thing you do is shave off the number off the end of the URL. Now the URL will look like this: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1929695217/healthcom If your own book title listed on Amazon.com has an ISBN number or ASIN number of 1585003557, what you do is insert that ISBN number in place of the website’s featured book. Now the URL will look like this: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1585003557/healthcom That new URL is going to mean instant book sales for you. Take your revised URL with your book ISBN and send a short message via e-mail again to the webmaster of the website. Ask the webmaster to feature your book on the website. Mention that you are including the URL with the website’s Amazon.com Associate identification number. Within a few days you will begin to see a surge in your book sales as a result of this technique. 2. Websites must offer an e-zine or newsletter. The top websites offer newsletters and e-zines that are delivered via e-mail every day. 3. Getting Started in an Affiliate Program

I got started with affiliate programs because I am really About the Author Brenda Pagel, provides time saving tools and
tired of working for companies to help them profit.
I didnt feel I was getting anywhere working for
companies (verses for ME).
Most of us go to work day in and day
out, like little robots, just to help a company grow. But a
lot of times we dont have the opportunity to grow with it.
Sure, you might grow with a company and even go on
to become quite an asset for the company. But that also
means you probably have to work longer hours and the job
gets more stressful. And those long, stressful hours are being
spent away from home.
You have the commute to and from work. How many
hours do we all spend in traffic every day, getting to and
from work? Way too many!
When you become an affiliate with ANY company, they
already have a program set up for you and all you have to do
is, join. And you get to work from the comfort of your home.
